I think my favorite thing to do outside is to snowshoe. It is such a good workout and you never get so hot that you want to die, which is my biggest problem with hiking in the summer. If you want to snowshoe, I would suggest going to South Fork. It is really beautiful up there and it is the only place that my mom and I go.
