i sail....ahoy

recently, i have noticed how much i really like sailboats. growing up we had a sailboat that we didn't take out enough. i am drawn to movies about sailing and pictures of boats and the idea of having a sailboat and sailing away with good food and company sounds so appealing. i am also drawn to the whole idea of living in the east coast on the ocean next to a light house. {along with a million other people i'm sure} i like the whole lifestyle of sailboats, it is a WHOLE LIFESTYLE.

i really like sailboat inspired interiors, but, there is a fine line between classic and totally cheese ball, if not done right, it may be the bad early 90's look with sick shades of bad colors... right?

i wish i could get away with having  some sort of a sailboat inspired something in my house, but i don't think i can get away with it seeings how i don't live anywhere near an ocean

 and look at these dream houses.... i would LOVE to live in cape cod or north carolina or someplace cool like that on the east coast

this week we did get two sailboats called, "snarks". they are little ones, but i kind of like that they are little and easy to control.  i am excited to take them out and catch the wind. it is such an awesome feeling. i can pretend that we are sailors
