Why I hate summer....

it is getting warmer and warmer outside, against all my wishes! and everyone thinks i am a weirdo for not liking summer and wishing it was colder and rainy and snowy. so, i am going to spread t he summer hate by giving you a list of all the reasons i hate summer (the hot weather). this is mostly for myself though, so that i have something to refer to when someone asks why?
1. hot cars! : including back sweat, hotter than hell seatbelts, steering wheels, and the burning flesh on leather seats. also melted anything that you put into the car!
2. okay, how about, snakes, snakes, snakes, bugs, mosquitos, and every other stupid bug that decides that they have to be in my house for whatever reason?
3. um, working in the yard! which is never ending and expensive and so time consuming, and that also means morning glory, this stuff has taken over my whole backyard now. and this one leads to my next one...
4. ALLERGIES! for almost a month, all three of my boys cannot even go outside! nobody gets allergies in the winter or fall! so, since they all have allergies, that means i have to keep up with the yard by myself for a month.
5. this is more important to me than maybe others, but re runs. there are no new shows in the summer. which as depressing as it may be, is one of my favorite things in the fall and winter, to look forward to the new SNL and other rad shows.
6. not being able to go outside to hike or bike ride or do anything else that does not include water, because it is burning lava hot outside and you will catch on fire. that is not fun for me, being hot sucks the energy right out of me. i so much prefer going snow shoeing or even hiking in the fall or winter.
7. i can't decorate my house in the summer... there are no holidays from the months of may to september, except july 4th, which makes me hot just thinking about it. i love decorating my house for holidays and i don't get to during those months.
8. i don't know about you, but our room is about 85 degrees at night while we are sleeping and me + hot+ not sleeping= ugly! so we have a air conditioner in our window ( white trash) with a fan in front of it....every night in the summer. going to bed hot and trying to sleep hot? uh-uh.
9. i don't like dressing for hot weather... i like layers and hoodies, uggs, and sweaters. not tank tops, shorts, and swim suits. then i have to worry about being tan and how my body looks in a swim suit. i just want to get dressed and cover up my imperfections.
10. and lastly... CONSTRUCTION! i won't say anymore.
