OUTSIDE LANDS!

last weekend, jack, connor, and i went to san francisco to see three days of our favorite bands play in golden gate park. and it was A W E S O M E!

connor had never been to a big city and so he loved seeing the life there. it's pretty intense....the homeless, the crazies talking to themselves, the even more crazies yelling at pigeons, and all the crazies at the concert! we couldn't do much sightseeing with the concert all three days starting at noon and going to ten, but we did stay downtown, so we saw quite a bit, connor saw probably more than he wanted too. we did make it to the wharf and Alcatraz and barely saw the golden gate bridge in the foggy distance. i really wish we had one more day to cruise the city, window shop, and go to marin county!

it was so much fun.... good people watching, good food, good company, good t-shirts, good and DISGUSTING san francisco transportation, good hot tubbing after freezing and dancing all day, good hotel to come home too every night. all around... two enthusiastic thumbs up and very much needed for our family. a huge thanks to chelsey for making it all happen with her unbelievable selflessness. i'm so sorry that she didn't feel well enough to make it, because she was really missed.

though it was f r e e z i n g the WHOLE time, the concert rocked and 180,000 people chummy with each other keeps you pretty warm. we saw... ... WAIT FOR IT?....
